History
Decimus Oil Corp. (TSXV: WCSB), changed its name in September 2025 (formerly Tenth Avenue Petroleum Corp.) to better align with its new long-term vision and focus in Southern Alberta. The Latin word decimus means "tenth". Historically, the name Decimus was given to the tenth-born child in a large Roman family, similar to other praenomina like Quintus (fifth) or Sextus (sixth). Tenth Avenue Petroleum Corp., which was recapitalized by its existing Board of Directors back in late 2021.
